Winkler County Flowback Pipeline Explosion Sends 3 to the Hospital

Winkler County, TX (5/6/2020) – 3 people were taken to the hospital after a flowback pipeline exploded. The incident occurred off County Road 404, Cattle Guard #4.
According to the Winkler County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find several people hurt from the explosion. One person was airlifted to the hospital while two others were taken to the Kermit emergency room.
Deputies are investigating to determine the cause of the explosion.
