Head-on collision in Andrews County Kills Two

Andrews County, Texas (3/22/2021) – At 3:48 AM, Colton Gibbs, 30, from Gladewater, Texas was heading southbound on FM 1788 in his truck.

Approximately at the same time Francisco Del Hierro, 28, of Andrews was heading northbound in his truck when he crossed over into the southbound lane and crashed head-on with Gibbs’ truck.

Both drivers were pronounced dead. DPS says a seat belt was not used by Hierro.

The crash is currently under investigation by DPS.
