Wolfforth, TX (Jan 31, 2023) – Tuesday morning, authorities responded to a tragic rollover crash involving two students on Hwy. 62/82 near Wolfforth. Around 9:10 a.m., the vehicle lost control on a slick patch of the CR 1300 overpass, resulting in the vehicle rolling and coming to a stop in the center median. One student was seriously injured and transported to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, while the other student unfortunately did not survive.
