5 Injured in Ector Co. Crash

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (Sept 19, 2022) – Monday afternoon, 5 people were injured in a crash that occurred on Interstate 20 in Ector County.

At approximately 4:50 p.m., a truck tractor hit an eastbound vehicle from behind, and veered into the median where it crossed into the westbound lanes. The truck then crashed into a westbound vehicle causing a four-vehicle chain reaction, according to a release by the Texas DPS.

Five people were transported to Medical Center Hospital. Two were in critical condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
