Information About a Seymour Bus Related Accident Has Been Updated
Seymour, Texas (9/15/2020) – Information about an accident that occurred on Monday afternoon around 2:00 pm has been updated to correct faulty information.
Originally, it was reported that a rollover crash involving a Greyhound bus and pickup truck resulted in two deaths. However, since the crash, the news about a second death has been reported as false.
According to reports, the Greyhound bus was traveling on its route from Lubbock to Wichita Falls when the collision happened. The crash took place at the intersection of Hwy 277 and U.S. 183.
The name of the of the deceased victim has been released, 40-year-old James Dayton of Amarillo. The driver of the pickup sustained non-life threatening injuries and a number of other bus passengers were treated for more serious injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
