Driver Arrested Following Drunk Driving Accident That Kills Passenger

Midland County, Texas (01/25/21) – State troopers responded to an accident at 2:35 AM where they found a Toyota Camry crashed into a dumpster and fence.

DPS says the driver of the vehicle, Armando Gonzalez Jr., 26, was traveling east on CR 140 when he passed through a stop sign at the intersection of South CR 1200 and lost control of the vehicle.

The passenger, Noemi Gomez, 28, of Midland, died from her injuries at the scene of the accident.

Gonzalez was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and was booked into the Midland County Jail.
