Man Dies After Two-Vehicle Collision on FM 1788

Andrews County, TX (April 20, 2022) – A 54-year-old male, Alfredo Sanchez, died Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash occurred on FM 1788.

Officers said Sanchez was traveling southbound on the FM 1788 when Amador Erazo, a 47-year-old male traveling northbound, drifted his Freightliner truck into the other lane striking Sanchez’s Corvette head-on. 

Sanchez was pronounced dead after being airlifted to Permian Regional Medical Center (PRMC) and Erazo was treated and released from PRMC.
