One Person Dead After Two-Vehicle Crash in Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (Jan 24, 2023) – Sunday morning, a 22-year-old man was killed in a car crash that occurred on SH 349.

Texas DPS reported that Colton Turner was driving southbound on SH 349. The driver of a 2004 Peterbilt with trailer was driving in a private drive west of SH 349 and failed to yield the right of way and entered the left turn lane which caused him to crash into Turner’s vehicle.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene by Midland EMS. The driver of the Peterbilt was not injured in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
