Possible Street Racing Kills 1, Leaves 3 in Serious Condition in Albuquerque

Albuquerque Police responded to a crash on Saturday Night that is the worst some of them have ever seen.

Officials say a woman was crossing at Louisiana near Gibson and was struck by a car. The woman did not survive the crash.

Reports say two cars were potentially racing when one car hit the woman and then an apartment building. Four people were in the car and three are in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle is in police custody.

Police say others should take this as a warning if they are thinking about street racing. The other car did not stop. Police are still investigating the accident.
