Two-Vehicle Accident North of Midland Kills One Person

Martin Country, Texas (01/12/21) – State Troopers responded to an accident between a Nissan Altima and a semi-truck at 5:16 PM on Highway 349, seven miles of Midland.

The driver of the Nissan, John Lunn, 24, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi truck was not hurt in the accident.

A preliminary investigation by DPS revealed that while the Nissan was traveling north on Highway 349, the driver of the semi-truck failed to yield the right away while leaving a private driveway and crashed into the Nissan.
