Two-Vehicle Crash Leaves Three Dead and One Injured Near Alpine
Alpine, Texas (12/29/2020) – A collision between two vehicles on December 28 has left three dead and one injured.
According to reports, Alma Wilson, 54, of Odessa was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 67 around 11:00 AM. Wilson drove into a no-passing zone in an attempt to pass a vehicle that she was following. Wilson then collided head-on with Roberto Taveraz-Roman, 79, who was traveling eastbound.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The passenger in her car was transported to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries.
Taveraz-Roman and his passenger also were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, DPS is investigating the crash. No further information is available.
